| So basicly, it won't run at all. I've tried compatability mode...nope. It gets stuck while loading, and sometimes it gets to the menu and freezes while loading the first scene. On another computer it gets to the first scene and crashed when it tries to load the announcer's first OGG or WAV or whatever the voices are. |

| Generally, LIXS doesn't like Vista or 7. I remember trying it on my dad's computer when it was a Vista (It's 7 now), but I got loads of crashes and glitches. Compatibility did not help at all. I really wish there was a patch file to fix this crap... |

| Had the exact same issue when I tried it on a Vista computer. I think it's OS specific. If you can ever get your hands on an XP computer (or even better, PlayStation 2), then go with that. But I don't know of any ways to get it to work on Vista. |

| On one Vista I use it freezes on start up loading, on another I can run the game for like about 30 seconds until it crashes, on my bro's Windows 7 is runs some random minutes before it crashes or something like that. |

| SOLUTION: Buy a Windows XP laptop or something. Just get one of those cheap craptops (COUGHLIKEMINECOUGH), and that's all you'll need to play most of the old LEGO games.
This is the only solution I can think of. |

| Probably the only solution. It's so narrowly compatible. |

This is the only solution I can think of. | Or use a virtual machine on a computer you already own.
Someone has made a fix for the glitches/bugs on LEGO creator. So it might be possible to create a fix for LIXS to work on newer OSs. |

That's not the best solution. Most virtual machines have no support for Direct3D games. |

| I actually tried it on a virtual machine before and it worked. |

| I don't recall, it was a while ago I did that. All I know is that I was running Windows XP on the VM.
Edit: The VM was VMware Player. Trying it again.. getting a Direct3D error when launching the game. There had to be a way I did it the first time.. |
